How do I move products from one Shopify store to another?
Install Store Porter on both stores. The sender store generates a connection code; paste that code into the receiver store and verify the connection. Select Products under Select Data, then start the transfer. Products move with their variants, options, images, tags, vendor and status.
Does Store Porter create duplicates if I run it twice?
No. Store Porter records every product, collection, customer, file, page, menu, blog and metaobject it has already imported and skips repeats, reporting them as Already exists rather than copying them again. Running the same transfer twice is safe.
Can I move Shopify metaobjects and shipping profiles between stores?
Yes. Store Porter transfers metaobject definitions and their entries, and delivery profiles with their shipping rates. Neither is covered by Shopify's CSV export.
Can I migrate a Shopify store without a CSV export?
Yes. Store Porter connects the two stores through the Shopify Admin API and copies your data across for you. There is no CSV to export, edit or re-upload, so nothing is lost to column mismatches.

What happens to the sender store during a transfer?
